Waitrose has taken several measures to protect both customers and staff during the coronavirus outbreak. Customers are asked to send only one person to shop and to wear a mask or scarf. In every store, there are also hand sanitisers. Waitrose offers the Volunteer's Shopping Card for shoppers who are self-isolated that allows family and friends to collect their orders on their behalf.
