The only downside is that they're quite heavy and therefore it can be difficult to lift them up when you're carrying a child in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some car seat and stroller combos can be tricky to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to put together. It includes a helpful guide. Other models we tried such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide pushchair pram 2 in 1 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly easy to assemble. In contrast, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps - attaching the lower anchors and using straps that are placed over the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to secure the carrier into the base, and then remove it.

In our tests, it took about 5 minutes to assemble the UPPAbaby Cruz. This is a relatively simple procedure when you take into account the time saved by not having to remove each piece. The toddler seat can be attached and removed with ease on most of these models.
