Best Twin Stroller For Newborns

If you're expecting twins or have two children who are similar in age the double stroller is essential. The top double strollers offer different ways to ride your children, including side by side seating and an attachment for boards.

The Bugaboo Donkey 5 Mono is Lauren Ro's favourite stroller. It adapts to the needs of your family seamlessly. It can fit two infant car seats and a toddler seat. This makes it an ideal choice for twins.

Bugaboo Donkey

This is the ideal twin stroller for families who want a stylish double side-by-side stroller. It's a larger than the other Bugaboo models but it's solid and built to last. It has a handlebar which can be adjusted to extend and retract easily. It also has a fantastic reach, so it is easy for my 6'1 husband to push, even when loaded.

Seats are comfortable and can be set up in a way that one child is behind another or so that children are facing each one. The seats can recline independently of one other. The canopies cover both fabric seats, if desired. But they don't have adequate ventilation, so they could feel like a small oven on hot days. There's no peek-a-boo window to see your children.

One of the most distinctive features of this stroller is its ability to adapt to your family's needs from the single seat (Mono mode) all the way up to a double side-by-side stroller. This is the only cheap double pushchair stroller convertible to do this. It can be used with the bassinet for infants or a car seat.

It is a breeze to use on smooth surfaces, and it can handle slopes and stairs well. It can be a challenge to maneuver around busy stores and restaurants. It is difficult to fold the seat down, especially if it's connected. It's still compact and can fit through most doors.

In mono mode, there's a storage bin next to the front seats. This is great for groceries and other supplies. The main storage basket under the seats is big and can hold up to 100 lbs. This is more than any other stroller on our list!

Uppababy Vista v2

This stroller is among the top twin strollers for newborns. It can be used right from the box as a double stroller and is compatible with numerous bassies and infant car seats. It can even accommodate two infant car seats or bassets simultaneously when you purchase the Vista Upper and Lower adapters.

Comparatively to the first Vista, the V2 has made a few changes to make it better. The toddler seat has been raised by about half an inch, the footrest is larger, and the canopy is an extra fabric extension that zips out. The harness is also modernized, as it does not require re-threading. This makes it much easier to adjust.

The stroller comes with large wheels (8" in front and 11.5" in the back) and a robust suspension system, which lets it navigate any terrain. The rubber wheels on the front are ideal for navigating gravel and rocks and the tread on the rear wheels is better for grassy hills or sidewalks.

Another excellent feature is the possibility to connect a child's bike to the front of the stroller, which is a handy option for those who aren't interested in using an infant car seat or Rumbleseat. And if you have an older child who is ready to stand, the Vista can even fit a third kid with its piggyback ride along board accessory.

Vista Vista is easy to use and set up. However, it takes some time to get rid of the protective packaging. The instructions are easy to follow and there is also an YouTube video if you need more help.

In our Strollers & Multiples laboratory tests, Cortina Together received high scores for ease of use. This is based on how easy it is to set up and fold the stroller and to adjust the safety harness as well as the snack tray, engage and deengage the brakes, lift and carry the stroller as if putting it in a trunk and for compatible double strollers install and remove an infant car seat.

This model isn't perfect. First, it's heavy. It weighs in at 36.6 pounds when fully loaded, which is closer to the beast side of our metric, and is heavier than the average for this category of strollers. It also has limited visibility when a car seat is placed in the back. Additionally, the front tray release is sometimes difficult to operate, especially after long-term use. Despite these limitations, we think this is a great double stroller that will keep your family together for many years to come.

Jeep Double Stroller

The Jeep Destination Ultralight Side x Side Double Stroller is a lightweight, affordable stroller that's perfect for families with two kids. The front swivel-lock wheels turn to maneuver on flat surfaces, and lock for stability on bumpy ones, making it easy to go where you want to go. It also comes with a compact umbrella fold that can be closed in seconds and stands upright for easy transport. Its aluminum frame that is lightweight, carrying strap and handle made of foam makes it one of the most easy double strollers to lift during our tests.

This side-by-side stroller offers seating that reclines independently and foot rests for maximum comfort for both children. Its large canopy offers UPF 50 protection and includes a peekaboo view for easy monitoring. We wish the canopy was vented to let in more airflow though. We also didn't like that the cup holder sits quite high on the frame, meaning you'll have to bend down to access it.

In our tipping test in our tipping-test, the Jeep fell over at a 39 degree angle, which is more than the norm for double prams. It's heavier than the average and has more storage for the price. The handle and seats are also well-padded.

This stroller can be used in three modes that include wagon (just for things) as well as jogger (with two 5-point safety harnesses designed for children) and car seat mode. It can be used with one infant car seat, however, pediatricians suggest waiting until your child is 6 months old before jogging with them and one year old before letting them go on rough terrain. It is available in black and comes with a limited warranty.
